Gimlin Acres InspiredByGrace

 

"Grace" is a beautiful buckskin doe who has produced some very nice kids so far!  She is nicely put together with a long neck and great legs.  She can be milked, but will test your patients till she learns that she can not get down - and then she is a dream to milk.  Super large teats with great milk production and taste! 

Available after kidding - in milk - $400.00 with registration - $300.00 without.

 * If purchased without registration can purchase registration papers for up to 1 year for $100.00 additional.

 

 

Princess Fallon (Snow)

 "Snow" is one of my favorite girls.  She is so beautiful to look at and a great mom.  However, for my breeding program, I am moving in a little different direction.  Snow is due to kid 12 March 2010 and will be available immediately after kidding "in milk".  If not sold prior to March 30th, she will, more then likely, dried up and sold as an open doe not in milk due to me going on vacation and no one to milk her. This is a WONDERFULY milkstand trained doe!

Available immediately after kidding - in milk - $300.00 with registration $200.00 without registration. 

 

After coming back from vacation (April 7th) and dry/open - $250.00 with registration papers.

 

 Ahtanum's Georgia on my Mind (Dixie)

"Dixie" is a sweet girl - horned, but does not use them at all towards anyone.  The only reason that this girl is for sale, is that I am keeping her twin sister.  Dixie is a broken roaned buckskin and her pregnancy test is pending (03/05/10 results will be in) and she will be available as soon as she kids.  She will be a First Fresher if pregnant.

 

Available after kidding - $250.00 in milk with registration papers

 

Aurora Farms Pudding

 Pudding is going to be kidding the end of April as a First Freshner.  I currently own her dam and am planning on keeping a kid from Pudding so she will be available for sale immediately after kidding.  She is a nice doe, getting alot better about being handled and will allow scratchings now.

Available after kidding - $250.00 in milk with registration papers.

Information on For Sale Animals:

 

To purchase an animal that you see advertised on the "For Sale" page please contact me by clicking here and letting me know of your interest.

 

After receiving a response and working out sales details, I will place a 5 day hold on the animal while awaiting a deposit of, at minimum, 1/2 of the asking price of said animal, $25.00 of which is a non-refundable deposit on the animal.  Once deposit is received, I will change the status to Deposit Received.  Upon pickup of animal, the remainder of the selling price is due. 

 

Animal must be picked up on date agreed upon, unless prior arrangements are made.  If animal is not picked up on day agreed, there will be a boarding charge of $2.00 per day.  If reserved animal is left on the property longer then 30 days AFTER agreed pick up date, said animal becomes the sole property of Sunset Lake Ranch, to resale or retain, with NO refund of payments received

 

Payment for deposit can be made by cash, cashier's check, money order, or Paypal.  If you use paypal you must include a 3% service charge to cover fees imposed by Paypal.

 

If you purchase an animal from Sunset Lake Ranch and it becomes ill or dies, prior to pick up, your deposit WILL BE refunded or transfered to another animal, by the choice of the buyer.

 

Sunset Lake Ranch does not assume responsibility for any animal after it leaves our property. 

 

 

I reserve the right to retain any kids born at Sunset Lake Ranch for my own personal herd.  If the kid has a reservation already on it, and SLR retains the kid, the deposit can be moved to another kid, another breeding, or refunded by choice of the buyer.

12/08/09 -  Just a few updates :)

- Thank you to Tina at Laurel Haven Farm in South Carolina for choosing Sunset Lake Ranch as the new home for two of her December 2009 kids and now a February Doeling!!!!

We are extremely excited to be the chosen owner of this kids at weening!

 

- Our herd is currently in the "Spring Breeding" cycle and we are excited with the upcoming kid crop.  Make sure to get your reservations in now, as these kids will go quickly.
